The former head of the CITES in Guinea – who is implicated in the illegal export of over 100 chimpanzees and other endangered wildlife – has been arrested following a lengthy investigation by the Guinée-Application de la Loi Faunique (GALF), INTERPOL, and Guinea law enforcement officials.
