An infant male Bornean orangutan left in a cardboard box on the side of the road was seized by International Animal Rescue (IAR), and is currently receiving round-the-clock care as he fights to survive. Nicknamed “Gito,” the orangutan is so frail and critically ill from a skin condition that IAR staff initially thought he was dead when they approached.
