Puppe, a female Sumatran orangutan who was captured from the wild in 1971, turned 49 years of age this week at the Toronto (Canada) Zoo. Puppe – which is German for “doll” – has lived at zoos in Germany, the US and Canada, and has given birth to 5 offspring, including Budiman, pictured here. She is also keen on using the iPads the zoo gives to the animals. For more, visit http://ift.tt/1S0xA5D http://ift.tt/1PIVfpI
