MJ, a female Bornean-Sumatran hybrid orangutan who had lived at the Milwaukee County (USA) Zoo since 2007, died unexpectedly this week at the age of 35. Officially named “Maggie Jr.,” MJ was believed to have suffered a number of chronic illnesses but the cause of death is still being investigated.
