GRASP Webcast - The Indonesia Fire Haze Crisis

Indonesia is one of the most richly biodiverse places on the planet, with countless species and others that have yet to be discovered.

Just in 2015 the Indonesia fire haze has emitted as much carbon into the atmosphere in a single day as some industrialized nations release into the atmosphere in an entire year. Nearly 120,000 fires have been counted this year, and the resulting devastation will likely cost the Government of Indonesia an estimated $30 billion USD.

We invite you to ask questions to experts on the ground, orangutan rehabilitation center personnel and policy makers about ‘The Indonesia Fire Haze Crisis ’ that we’ll be discussing live on 2nd December.

Your questions will be aired live during the events. Questions can be posted on the #fb event page
