A new study published in the American Journal of Primatology shows that chimpanzees derive the same joy from solving tricky puzzles that humans do when completing crosswords or sudokus. Scientists set up a challenge for 6 chimpanzees at the London’s Whipsnade Zoo, who enthusiastically carried out their tasks whether they earned a reward or not.
