Three infant chimpanzees who were seized from an illegal trader in India in early 2014 recently went on display at the Alipore (India) Zoo. The chimpanzees – believed to be half of an original shipment of 6 that may have been sold off in Mumbai and Chennai – are in the temporary custody of the zoo pending legal action.
