#Rwanda held the tenth annual Kwita Izina gorilla naming ceremony yesterday at the Volcanoes National Park in Kinigi. This year, 18 baby mountain gorillas were named as part of the ongoing conservation efforts to protect Rwanda’s endangered mountain gorillas. The event brought together over 5,000 residents of Musanze District as well visitors from all over the world under the theme ‘A Decade: Conserving-Empowering-Growing’.
