An adult male Sumatran orangutan who was observed wandering around farmland in eastern Aceh was rescued and relocated this week by the Orangutan Information Centre (OIC) Human Orangutan Conflict Response Unit (HOCRU) and the Indonesian wildlife authority (BKSDA). The orangutan – who is estimated to be 35 years of age – was the 2nd save din as many weeks by OIC. He was released in the Leuser ecosystem forest. For more, visit http://buff.ly/1rCllBV
