GRASP Scientific Commission chairman Serge Wich has been appointed an Honorary Professor at the University of Amsterdam (UvA), where he will research the conservation of the great apes. This special chair at UvA’s Faculty of Science has been designated in cooperation with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), and Wich, a professor of primate biology at Liverpool John Moores University in the UK, will give guest lectures at the UvA and supervise Masters students.
