Baby Face is a female chimpanzee who came from the Gatorland theme park in Florida, USA, in 1972 and is now turning 43 years of age at the Pototwatomi Zoo. Baby Face was brought in 2 years ago to act as a companion and peacemaker for Alex, a male chimpanzee who suffers distress from years in a research facility.
