Two infant orangutans being transported in a cage via automobile were confiscated and 3 men arrested this week near Kolkata, India. The orangutans – believed to be less than a year old – are victims of a major illegal wildlife network that is growing rapidly in the East India region, according to India’s Wildlife Crime Control Bureau of the Union Environment, Forests and Climate Change Ministry.
