A man convicted of illegally trafficking in live orangutans was sentenced today to 1 ½ years in prison by a judge in Indonesia. Pak Dicky, who ran an illegal trade network that sent endangered animals across Europe, the Middle East and Asia, was arrested in February in possession of 33 animals from 14 species. Prosecutors sought a 5-year sentence and a $10,000 fine, and the light judgement is under review. For more, visit http://ift.tt/1OzVFMi. http://ift.tt/1GQI6CS
