A female Sumatran orangutan and her infant were rescued from a small forest patch that was designated to be cleared for oil palm cultivation in South Aceh this week by the Orangutan Information Centre (OIC) and translocated to the Gunung Leuser National Park. The baby, estimated at 6 months of age, is thought to be underweight. For more, visit http://ift.tt/1kGoex2 http://ift.tt/1uravz4
