Cheetah is a male chimpanzee who spent nearly 20 years in bio-medical research before being rescued in 2002 and transferred to the Save the Chimps sanctuary in Florida, USA. Nobody knows whether Cheetah was captured from the wild or born in captivity and his records only date back to 1983, but it is believed he turned 40 years of age this week.
