An adult male Bornean orangutan who was exhausted and injured after fleeing the fires in Central Kalimantan was recently rescued from a farm in Pulang Pusau regency by the Bornean Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOSF). Estimated to be 15 years of age, the orangutan was underweight and severely dehydrated, and was taken to the Nyaru Menteng Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre to recover.
