An infant female chimpanzee who was seized from illegal traders in eastern DR Congo arrived this week at the Lwiro Primate Rehabilitation Centre. Nicknamed “Aisha,” the chimpanzee was rescued through the combined efforts of the Congolese wildlife authority (ICCN), the Jane Goodall Institute, and UGADEC.
