A Critically Endangered infant female Bornean orangutan who was illegally kept as a pet by workers on an oil palm plantation in West Kalimantan was voluntarily handed over to the Indonesian wildlife authority (BKSDA) this week, and will next be transferred to the International Animal Rescue (IAR) rehabilitation unit.
