Goma, a female Western Lowland gorilla who was the first of her species born at a zoo in Europe in 1959, turned 57 years of age this week at Zoo Basel (Switzerland). The offspring of 2 wild-caught gorillas, Goma is the 3rd oldest gorilla in captivity. http://ift.tt/2cXmu1e
