Pongky, an adult male Sumatran orangutan who had lived alone for 2 years at the Medan Zoo in Sumatra after being seized from a high-ranking police official in 2013, was transferred this week to the Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Programme (SOCP) rehabilitation centre.
