An infant male Bornean orangutan was confiscated today from villagers in Wahau, East Kalimantan, by the Indonesian wildlife authority (BKSDA). Nicknamed “Wowo,” the orangutan was turned over to the Centre for Orangutan Protection (COP) medical team for evaluation before being moved to a rehabilitation centre.
