Law enforcement activist Ofir Drori, founder of the Last Great Ape Organization (LAGA) in Cameroon, has received two major awards: The Duke of Edinburgh Conservation Medal, given by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) for highly meritorious contributions to the conservation of wildlife and natural resources, and outstanding service to the environment, and the Conde Nast Traveler Environment Award, given to environmental visionaries around the world who have found innovative solutions to seemingly intractable problems.
