An adult male Sumatran orangutan who became isolated in farmland that is scheduled to be converted to oil palm was rescued by the Orangutan Information Centre (OIC) Human Orangutan Conflict Response Unit (HOCRU) this week and will be released into appropriate forest once he confirmed to be healthy.
