Katarina, a female Bornean orangutan who had been dubbed the “world’s loneliest orangutan” by British media, has been transferred from her solitary enclosure at Malaysia’s dilapidated Lipis Zoo to the Taiping Zoo, 3 hours north of Kuala Lumpur.
