An infant female chimpanzee who was seized from a military official in DR Congo is the latest arrival at the Lwiro Primate Rehabilitation Centre. The chimpanzee was rescued through a joint operation of the Wildlife Conservation Society and the DR Congo wildlife authority (ICCN), and the military official received a 17-year sentence for his crime.
