The Western Lowland gorilla population in the Odzala-Kokoua National Park in Congo has dropped by nearly 20,000 in the last 7 years due to ebola outbreaks and illegal hunting, according to a study released by the Wildlife Conservation Society. Just 22,000 gorillas are thought to be in the park today, although chimpanzee numbers have remained constant. For more, visit http://ift.tt/15H0f6U. http://ift.tt/1hVJqY5
