A young female Bornean orangutan that had been captured by villagers after being flushed out of a forest undergoing conversion into an oil palm plantation was rescued this week by the BOS Foundation’s Orangutan Rescue Team, in collaboration with the Central Kalimantan Conservation and Natural Resources Authority (BKSDA). The orangutan, who is estimated to be 3-4 years of age, was the second rescued from the area in less than a week. For more, visit http://ift.tt/17smAbF. http://ift.tt/1ityWj9
