An infant Bornean orangutan who was kept as a pet in a West Kalimantan village near an oil palm development was one of 3 orangutans seized recently in one day by Indonesian authorities (BKSDA) and International Animal Rescue (IAR). Nicknamed “Udin,” the orangutan is estimated to be less than a year old and will require specialized care at the IAR centre in Ketapang. For more, visit http://ift.tt/1QMkSnM http://ift.tt/1EH2qp1
