Uganda High Commissioner H.E. Mrs Angelina C. Wapakhabulo meets with GRASP programme officer Dmitry Kornilov this week in Kenya to build political support for the World Great Apes Day petition that will be submitted to the United Nations General Assembly in September. The petition seeks to have 9 September declared “World Great Apes Day” in honor of chimpanzees, gorillas, bonobos and orangutans.
