An infant female Bornean orangutan that had been kept illegally as a pet in a crude wire cage was rescued by the Centre for Orangutan Protection (COP) this week during a confiscation operation in Central Kalimantan. Nicknamed “Alung,” the orangutan is believed to be approximately 2 years of age, but is extremely small and malnourished. For more, visit http://ift.tt/1nEF0Jn. http://ift.tt/1nfSsF8
