Lulu, a female chimpanzee who had lived at the Taronga Zoo in Australia since 1965, died this week at the age of 62. Born in the wild, Lulu was raised as a pet in the United States, and performed on a bicycle in a tutu at a roadside zoo before finally reaching an accredited zoo. Lulu gave birth to 8 offspring and was the Taronga Zoo’s oldest chimpanzee. For more, visit http://ift.tt/1rVncfY. http://ift.tt/1rVnenX
