A juvenile Bornean orangutan who had been purchased for $83 USD two years ago and then chained up and taught to smoke cigarettes was confiscated this week by Indonesian law enforcement officials in Ketapang, West Kalimantan, and transferred to the Indonesian wildlife authority (BSKDA). The confiscation was supported by International Animal Rescue (IAR) and the Gunung Palung Orangutan Project. For more, visit http://ift.tt/1xcCkqQ. http://ift.tt/1ox10LD
