Sheila Siddle, who worked with her late husband, David, to transform their Zambian cattle ranch into a chimpanzee sanctuary in 1983 at an age when most people are considering retirement, turned 83 this week. The Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage went on to care for over 120 orphaned chimpanzees, many of whom are profiled in Siddle’s critically acclaimed autobiography, “In My Family Tree: A Life with Chimpanzees.” For more, visit http://ift.tt/1tzUgsi. http://ift.tt/1tzUi3p
