Vila, a female Western Lowland gorilla who is believed to have been born in Congo in 1957, celebrated her 57th birthday this week at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, USA. Vila is among the oldest gorillas in captivity in the world, and marked her birthday with a sugar-free orange ice cakes and ice cupcakes made from pureed sweet potatoes and raisins.
