Ju Ju, a female Western Lowland gorilla who was captured from the wild in Africa as an infant but went on to help form the successful gorilla families at the Howlett’s Wild Animal Park (UK), died recently of a suspected stroke. She was 54 years of age. Ju Ju had 8 successful births, including her son, Kijo, the first gorilla born at the park in 1975. For more, visit http://buff.ly/1NLvdw1.
