An infant male Bornean orangutan who was being kept illegally as a pet by villagers near Samboja was seized this week by Indonesian wildlife authorities (BKSDA) and Bornean Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOSF) veterinarians and taken to the Samboja Lestari rehabilitation centre in Central Kalimantan. The orangutan – estimated to be less than 2 years of age – is the 6th seized thus far in June 2016. For more, visit http://ift.tt/1WKC2IN http://ift.tt/264VB3q
