Doyle is a male chimpanzee who turned 47 years of age this week at the Dallas (USA) Zoo. Captured as an infant from the wild in Africa in 1970, Doyle has spent his entire life in Texas zoos, but has grown into a trusted leader and peacemaker. He has produced 10 offspring.
