Bubbles is a female chimpanzee who was captured from the wild in Africa as an infant in 1967and has spent nearly 4 decades in Florida zoos, turned 49 years of age this week at Miami Metro (USA) Zoo. Bubbles, who has given birth 6 times, is not related to the chimpanzee (also named “Bubbles”) that was once owned by singer Michael Jackson.
