A juvenile male Bornean orangutan who has already changed owners 3 times – most recently for $230 USD – is the subject of an ongoing seizure by Indonesian wildlife authorities (BKSDA) and the Centre for Orangutan Protection (COP) in East Kalimantan, Indonesia . Nicknamed “Jeje,” the orangutan is thought to be 6 years of age, and is now confined to a small cage because he has grown too big and strong.
