An infant female Bornean orangutan who had been kept as a pet for 4 years along with dogs in Lubuk Batu Village, Ketapang, was rescued this week by International Animal Rescue (IAR) and transferred to the IAR rehabilitation centre. Nicknamed “Utat,” the orangutan was fed a human diet of salted fish and rice and show ill-effects from her poor diet, including sparse hair and dry skin. For more, visit http://buff.ly/2aNsWJh
