An infant female chimpanzee so young that she had only developed one tooth was seized by Liberian authorities after being offered for sale in Monrovia. Nicknamed “Gola,” the chimpanzee is estimated to be only a few months old, and will be cared for along with other 5 orphans at the Liberia Chimpanzee Rescue facility on the outskirts of the capital.
